Kazakhstan’s QazCovid-In coronavirus vaccine will begin to be vaccinated at the end of April. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexey Tsoi, the correspondent reports zakon.kz .

The Kazakhstan vaccine (QazCovid-In – ed.) is currently at the third stage of clinical trials. The vaccine is routine. That means any vaccine which goes through all stages of clinical trials goes through a similar procedure. In principle, in a temporary format, these vaccines pass an identical period. Kazakhstan’s vaccine is now on the way out, and we plan to allow its use after receiving the documents, approximately at the end of April, — said Alexey Tsoi at a briefing in the CCS.

He added that they are waiting for the necessary documents from the developer based on the results of the clinical trials, the results of which will make a decision on the admission of vaccines to mass use.

We have given a temporary permit for the production of the vaccine, but on condition that they provide documents based on the results of clinical trials. Everything here goes on as usual, and there are no changes. I want to say that we received the virus strain itself later than other countries who are now leaders in the production of vaccines. We received the strain itself three months later. All procedures are routine, so we will get the results by April. We hope they will be positive, because it was going well before,” the minister explained.
