On April 22, 2021, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tugzhanov Yeraly Lukpanovich, Akim of Zhambyl region Saparbayev Berdibek Mashbekovich had a working visit to the RSE “Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems” of the SC MES RK to participate in the shipment of the first batch of the Kazakh vaccine QazCovid-in (trade name QazVac) from COVID-19 to the regions of Kazakhstan.

The first batch of Kazakhstan’s QazVac vaccine for 50 thousand doses of coronavirus was shipped to the RSE “Scientific Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems” of the SC of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It will be delivered to Nur-Sultan, Aktobe, Almaty and Shymkent, and from there to other regions of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is one of the six countries that have released their own vaccine against coronavirus infection,- said Deputy Prime Minister Tugzhanov Yeraly Lukpanovich.
RSE “Scientific Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems” of the SC MES RK with the help of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan fulfilled the order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev, – emphasized General Director Zakaria Kunsulu Daltonovna.
The first batch of Kazakhstan’s QazVac vaccine for 50 thousand doses of coronavirus will be distributed to the hubs of SK-Pharmacy LLP and will then be delivered to the warehouses of health departments of all regions of the country.

The creation of the Kazakh vaccine allowed our country to enter the top five countries in the world that have developed their own vaccines against coronavirus infection. According to the Ministry of Health, its complete safety has been proven; the vaccine forms a strong immunity against coronavirus infection.
The advantage of an inactivated vaccine is that it does not cause vaccine-associated diseases. In addition, the methods of delivery of the QazVac vaccine do not require complex refrigeration units; they are transported in a refrigerator at a temperature of plus 2-8 degrees.
